I was skeptical to say the least and couldn't understand why a cup would cost so much. I had tried many other brands but still could't find a cup that would keep my coffee hot for more than 2 hours. This Thermos brand promised it would keep liquids hot for 5 hours. I filled this cup with hot coffee at 7:30am and it was still hot after 1:30 pm! I have not tried cold liquids but I'm sure that it meets the promised 9 hours.
