The War File: Raf Bomber Command (2007) Review
Excellent vintage scenes of RAF night bombing campaign !!! Narrator does bring the lingering questions as to the ' why ' of of the carnage of the campaign upon the German civilian populace as per magnitude of deaths and real estate destruction . I do however recall that the English people suffered the same death / destruction , FIRST , as per the German ' Blitz ' on London / Conventry . War is truly a terrible thing . There are no true winners in these activities . I do admire the very brave RAF and Commonwealth aviators who night after night went on these dangerous missions many of whom never returned to their respective home bases . Night is NOT man's normal enviornment for the above activities . We are creatures of the DAY by nature .The War File: Raf Bomber Command (2007) Overview
