Contigo AUTOSEAL Stainless Steel Water Bottle - 28 oz. - Silver Review

I purchased both the insulated travel mug and this water bottle. Both are equal at keeping water in the bottle. It's been several weeks now and I have not had a single leak. This is important to me as I travel a LOT for work and was incredibly frustrated with liquids spilling in my car, in my work bag, in my lunch cooler, and on me. I also have a 2 yr old and kitten/cats that like to knock over glasses, cups, etc... and "share" my drinks. I have had enough of cleaning up spilled drinks!!!
My only negative with this water bottle vs the travel mug is that the design is slightly different on the lid of this bottle. The travel mug lid is more concave so when I drink it doesn't hit my nose that I notice. The water bottle lid is more raised so when I drink it pushes on my nose. Second difference with the lid is that the opening for your mouth is slightly larger than the travel mug. For most this is probably going to be a positive. For me, I have had jaw surgery and have a smaller mouth so this makes me have to stretch to prevent looking and feeling like a drooling fool when I drink. For me, the lid on the travel mug is much more comfortable. And I did try to see if it fit on the water bottle, it does not =(
Still, the first mug and/or water bottle I've ever found that require only one had to take a drink and do NOT leak. I repeat they do NOT leak. At all. This is a HUGE bonus for me!! Oh and my 2 yr old who cannot figure out how to "open" them (yet)?
To Contigo designers: Please make the water bottle lid more like the travel mugs. The travel mugs lid is SO comfortable!!!
