Wow! Talk about sharp. I cut a grape paper-thin just for the fun of it. The knife has a very good heft to it, and a strange sense of balance. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it feels like it wants to move forward during the cut thereby making it easier to use. On first impression, it's one of the best knives I've ever owned.
