Proctor Silex 1.5 Quart Slow Cookers Review
I had a small slow cooker before with temperatures of on and off. This has keep warm, low, high, as well as off.I bought this as a good option for fondue (no more burned spots from the warming candle), overnight cooked cereals, and lots of other things that need a small space.
More temperatures gives better control, and many slow cooker cookbooks have comments for halving recipes, to cook in this size.
I wasn't sure about the words on the front of the slow cooker, but there is a frame around the words proctor silex that you can put labels into.
The manufacturer ships a whole sheet of them with the slow cooker. That's what you're looking at with the manufacturer's pictures.
There is a stretch band that fits into notches in the handles and stretches to secure the lid.
This slow cooker has a lot of value for its size! I would recommend owning this 1.5 quart slow cooker for all the small do-aheads!
Mine has worked very well for me.
