BJ's Teddy Bear Club and Bible Stories (2006) Review
What a great find these DVDs are!I first found BJ's Teddy Bear Club and Bible Stories on TV, when we had switched from one cable TV carrier to another. Once I viewed a few segments of the program, I searched for DVDs.
BJ's Teddy Bear Club & Bible Stories provides a wonderful way to introduce your pre-school child or gradchild to the heros of the Bible and their stories, as they are presented in easy to understand language and fun colored cartoon form. Viewers are also able to enjoy colorful, fun lessons for early concept understanding re: colors, letters, numbers, counting and music.
In between each "Bible story" are fun activities, which include the availability for your child to sing and dance along with kids on the screen while they learn through sight and sound.
I purchased 2 sets of the 3 available DVDs so that all of my pre-school age grandchildren could view them in their own homes as well as when they are at mine when they visit. They love BJ Teddy Bear and all the different aspects of learning fun presented, especially the sing-along with real children who portray "There's No Baby Like My Baby", the cartoon skits involving "Tiki and Tommy", the "Message from Tommy the Pilot" (starting each half hour segment), the Ladybug who moves one segment into another, the Letters and Numbers (presented by Jake) and the activities on screen, which often involves real kids, real animals, songs and music.
I'm hoping they make more DVDs available with all of the Bible stories and skits which we've viewed on TV...especially the one presenting "We're On the Way to Grandpa's Farm", which my 2 y/o grandson especially adores!
I highly recommend these DVDs to anyone who is interested on providing a firm foundation of Bible centered teachings to their little ones who will no doubt, remember and carry eash lesson with them as they grow.
