We just came from a seminar discussing the attributes of these glasses and could not be MORE impressed!! Using a side by side comparison with your standard "pub" glassware, the same beers were tried in each of these glasses. You CAN NOT believe how much better the beers looked, smelled and tasted in these glasses!! They actually kept the beer COLDER due to the fact that they ARE thin, thus not having to cool down a thick, bulky glass. The sound is due to the fact that use a high grade silica that is not only clearer, smoother but also is flexible making it a MUCH more durable piece of stemware. One of the brewers from a leading Midwest brewery was there to present his beers with the glassware and could not have been MORE surprised at how much better his beers tasted in these glasses. In fact, he said his bosses weren't going to be happy with him as he wanted to change all the glassware in their tasting room to THESE glasses.
