Fred and Friends Unzipped-Bag-Shaped Hand-Blown Glass Bowl Review

I bought myself a boxful of Fred & Friends products on Black Friday just because they made me smile. All the products shipped quickly and I love them all.
This little bowl is one of my favorites out of everything. Yes the glass is thin and full of "indentations" -- that's the whole point. It's supposed to look like an unzipped baggie; it's moulded glass, after all. It's strong and sturdy and doesn't look "cheap;" I have mine sitting on a glass table in my living room filled with m&ms. The opening is plenty big enough for a good-sized adult hand to reach in and grab a fistful of candies without a problem.
I wouldn't recommend a glass bowl of any kind for households with small children, but if your kids are older and respectful then I think this would hold up perfectly well to normal use. It's balanced and stable and solid, and darn cute.
It makes me happy each time I look at it. :)
